Little Red Wagon

On this blustery winter day we decided it would be a great day to put together Clark's little red wagon that he received as a Christmas present from Grandma & Grandpa Clark -- hey, it's not even 2 months past Christmas! We realize this is probably the last time we get any reprieve between gift giving and gift assembly.

Clark had a lot of fun chewing on the handle and playing with the "big" tires -- mmm, nothing like boys and the smell of new rubber. His favorite part was sitting in the wagon and "helping" dad wield the screwdriver.

We have lots of plans for the little red wagon within the next few months -- it will go with us to the State Science Fair, the State FFA Convention and Clark's 1st VEISHEA parade. Of course, later in August it will make an appearance at the Iowa State Fair!

It's too nasty to go try the wagon out on the driveway but it got a little test drive around the house. Now, Clark is sitting in the wagon playing with dad and some of his favorite toys. He seems to think it's a great alternative to sitting on the floor. It's also a good height to practice standing beside (with plenty of supervision of course).
